I am not able to load either the main xfec.org wab page nor the wiki web
page using both firefox-60.2.1esr or chromium--67.0.3396.99. However, both
links and lynx load the main (https://www.xfce.org/) page immediately.

If you can explain this to me I would really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance,

Rich

Some of it is/was apparently MIA.
See thread titled "Where is xfce.org?" starting at
[https://lists.debian.org/debian-user/2018/09/msg01111.html].

Richard,

This is what I thought yesterday and this morning, but why the text-based
browsers load the landing page while the GUI ones don't is perplexing.

Thanks,

Rich

I have not the foggiest, but the required expertise is available there.
You need not be on the debian-user mailing list to use the "Reply to
debian-***@lists.debian.org" selection on that page.
Just indicate at top that you wish a cc as you are not subscribed.

Nah. Not worth the time.

I no longer need to look for xfce-plug-ins since gkrellm will show me both
hard drive activity, time, and CPU usage (a composite of all 16 threads).

Thanks,

Rich
